Remark KK
Executive Creative Director 2018 - Current

In 2018 Colin took a leadership role as Executive Creative Director for the Japanese marketing agency Remark KK.

In partnership with Colin’s design agency Omencraft, LLC, Remark KK combines the best of western and Japanese thinking, skills, and talent to provide marketing and design solutions for both Japanese and western brands. Remark and Omencraft have worked with brands like Mitsubishi, Sony Pictures, Citizen, Tria, Tabérumo, Calbe, and many others.

Founder, Owner 2016 - Current

Omencraft is a unique design agency based in Tokyo, focused on delivering strategic design solutions for both eastern and western markets.

Colin founded this design agency in 2016 and now leads as Executive Creative Director. While Omencraft is primarily focused on strategic brand identity design, they also offer a wide range of digital and print graphic design services, as well as executive-level design consulting and speaking engagements in Tokyo.


Razorfish
Creative Director 2010 to 2016

While at Razorfish Colin led the creative team on the Intel account for close to 4 years. In that time his team designed and launched multiple global marketing campaigns, led the global site redesign of intel.com which records daily page views in the millions, designed and developed the CMS used across all of Intel's local sites around the world, and designed and developed their first mobile website.

Colin also led creative projects for many other Razorfish accounts like Microsoft’s SMB responsive website design, Samsung’s mobile web app, and creative campaigns and web design for ASUS, Adobe, T-Mobile, AVAYA, Union Bank, and Wells Fargo.

As a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in graphic design and user experience, Colin has successfully collaborated with top global brands and advertising agencies.

Colin's journey in the creative field began with his cum laude graduation from Cal Poly SLO, one of California's leading universities, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Art and Design in 1996.

He launched his career at CNET Networks, where he designed prominent websites such as Gamecenter.com, ZDnet, News.com, and CNET.com, showcasing his exceptional talent and expertise.

Colin's passion for design and leadership skills led him to excel at Singlebound Creative, where he held a leadership role and drove creative initiatives for high-profile accounts, including Men's Wearhouse, Yume Video Advertising Networks, and Gymboree.

Continuing his upward trajectory, Colin served as a Creative Director for the globally renowned advertising agency Razorfish for six years. He led creative projects for flagship accounts such as Samsung, Microsoft, Adobe, and Intel, leaving a lasting impact with his innovative and strategic approach.

In 2016, Colin moved to Tokyo and founded his own design agency, Omencraft®, which has since collaborated with both Japanese and Western brands like Sony Pictures, Iwa Sake, Tria Beauty, and Mitsubishi, earning accolades for his creative vision and execution.

Currently, Colin splits his time between California and Tokyo, leveraging his expertise to work with diverse companies and agencies in both regions, showcasing his ability to adapt and excel in different cultural and professional settings.
